Santa Barbara local Jacob Duran is a highly talented and versatile mantra musician, multi-instrumentalist, and live electronic artist. While he has been leading traditional kirtan for almost 20 years, he also weaves this mantra experience with Indian classical, sound healing, and live looped, improvised ambient dub and down-tempo world music to create an entirely new and unprecedented chanting experience. His offering is highly creative and improvised, so it is always a unique experience. He is currently living his passion, as a career-artist, bringing sacred music to yoga classes, retreats, and festivals.
